Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce did not immediately say who would take over offensive play calling duties after he fired three members of his staff,Fastexy including offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, from that side of the ball.
On Tuesday, however, Pierce officially named Scott Turner, Las Vegas' pass game coordinator, interim offensive coordinator. But he also added a familiar figure to provide some assistance.

Norv Turner, 72, coached the Raiders to a 9-23 record over two seasons in 2004-05. He also served as head coach for Washington and the Chargers and finished with a career record of 114-122-1. Prior to his time as a head coach, he was the offensive coordinator for the first two (of three) Super Bowls the Dallas Cowboys won in the 1990s.
Scott Turner started coaching in the NFL in 2011 as an offensive quality control assistant with the Panthers. He coached under his father with the Minnesota Vikings and Carolina and was Washington’s coordinator from 2020-22.
The father-son duo will have their work cut out for them over the back half of the season. The Raiders' 4.6 yards per play ranks 30th in the league, and their 18.7 points scored per game is 26th.
